My first watercolor doodles. Experimenting. Testing. Seeing what was possible.

If you haven’t noticed, I’m a little bit kind of obsessed with details and control. Single bristle brushes are conducive to my problems.  The darker splatters are actually painted by hand.

A 2″ x 3″ triptych. (That means 3 2″x3″ pieces together as one: 3″ x 6″ total)

Darker contours also made possible by brush and a compulsive curiosity to see how detailed I could go with a brush.

Still just doodles and still testing and experimenting. But I’ll be sharing what I’ve gotten out of working with “water”. I’ve always envisioned myself as being the Bruce Lee of Art. Being like water is now becoming more of a reality.
